Happy New Year's Eve and thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Do you enjoy shopping Christmas clearance? With the continual spike of omicron breakthrough cases, I decided not to shop after the holiday, but I do have several markdowns I found early last week before Christmas...
Usually, I shop holiday clearance with an eye for decor that can also be used in different seasons. This trip was no different, but I'll share the Christmas finds this time and save the others for next week! My favorite place to shop Christmas clearance is Hobby Lobby, but last year, the store was completely picked through after the holiday. So when I got an email that they were marking Christmas down 66% on Monday the week of Christmas, I was there in my mask when the store opened. I'm completely smitten with the trio of pink mercury glass trees, and I already have an idea for using them in a non-Christmas way.
This cute pillow is nice quality and the back is a blank canvas for future projects! As it turned out, it was a good thing I got my "shopping fix" then, because that night was when I heard reports that the virus had taken a turn for the worse. So I'll be sheltering at home again for awhile. In the meantime, I found enough goodies in that single trip to share the next few weeks!
I love both of these Christmas signs--especially at 66% off!
Stay tuned next week for my not-so-Christmas-y bargains! Until then, stay safe and healthy!
Cecelia,

Cute trees! I can see ....and a Happy New Year on the back of that pillow. ;) Nice signs too (and in jadeite green). Covid has gotten really bad here - lots of scares, and one bona fide case in the family (Will's brother, who is 80). So far he's handling it at home without need for further treatment, hoping his boosted body can fight it. Needless to say, we are staying away from crowds. Happy new year, Cecilia.
ReplyDeleteThe little pink trees are gorgeous. So pretty and a great find. Thank you for sharing. Happy New Year
