My absolute favorite Christmas story of all time is Twas the Night Before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore, hands down. We used to read it to the kids every Christmas Eve. While the kids have grown, I'm still quite partial to the story. So, no wonder, I fell in love with Carol from The Red Painted Cottage's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas Mantel. She used a printed and framed sign with a quote from the book as the main element, surrounded by neutral small wooden houses, white bottle brush trees, and a rustic deer figure. Lush and festive greenery is draped about to add that special finishing touch. Drop by to get a glimpse of this serene winter wonderland!

Happy Christmas to you, Cecilia! Thank you so much for hosting Vintage Charm each week. I recently lost my master list of link parties so I appreciate your emails; I was able to find you again. :) Happily sharing a post I wrote after visiting the DFW Costume Guild and their November tea a few weeks ago ~ what fun and everyone's costumes were wonderful! Fits with your vintage theme, for sure. <3
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of your week,
