Friday's Find #183

Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Time for the fab features of the week. I am smitten with this trio of gorgeous gold rimmed stemware. They are only three inches tall and I'm more likely to use them for dessert than cocktails, but it's nice to have such a pretty option. Would you believe I paid less than .50 for all 3? It was 2 for .25  day at the Find's warehouse sale so...

...I actually scored this tray and the glasses for .50. Woo-hoo! It's not marked on the bottom, but it looks a lot like some of the vintage Italian Florentine trays I saw on my first trip to Texas Antique Week. I love the color and patina and have just the spot for it.  {I'll be sharing more goodies from the 2/.25 sale next week.}

At my next stop, I was happy to find this pretty transferware creamer because I only had a sugar bowl. It complements my Friendly Village and I actually have a plate featuring the charming English Cottage pattern that was made in Japan, hanging on my  transferware plate gallery wall.

Remember how I hunted for vintage shades to update my light fixtures? I finally found mine in Round Top. This one wouldn't have fit my fixtures and it needs a little love, but it might be on someone's DIY list! Available

I think I am still finding remnants from someone's state souvenir plate collection-- my Etsy shop is stocked!  Though, this is the first small one I've seen. This Minnesota plate is just over 7" compared to the usual 10"-11" size.  Available

Until next time, happy hunting!

  4. Love the colours in that Minnesota plate. I believe that tray is Florentine. I have two stacking tables in that style, but just in gold and cream. I've never seen one with blue. So pretty.
