Make Your Own Organic Herb Rub and My Grilled Pork Chop Recipe!

Greetings Friends! There is something about food cooked on the grill that just tastes better! Today I'm sharing my easy herb rub recipe sure to complement your grilled favorites...

For herb rub, I prefer dried herbs because they are more potent than fresh. I have used this rub on fish, chicken, pork, steak and even grilled corn on the cob! All you need is one tablespoon each of organic dried thyme, oregano and rosemary, plus one teaspoon of culinary lavender. I use a mortar and pestle to blend, which also releases the herbs' natural flavors, but don't worry about getting the pieces too small. About an hour before grilling, the herbs can be rubbed into the meat or veggie of your preference.

For my grilled pork chops:  Add one tablespoon herb rub to one tablespoon Blood Orange infused olive oil and brush on before grilling.  Grill on medium heat about three minutes on each side.  Enjoy!
