Hello and welcome! One of my blogging besties Jann, over at Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson is hosting a blogging Meet & Greet. For those who are unable to attend in person, she has extended an invitation for a virtual meet and greet link party. The party goes live tomorrow morning, so come along--maybe you'll learn something new about your favorite bloggers and make a few friends along the way...
Here are a few things you may not know about me:
My idea of the perfect weekend is a combination of leisurely shopping yard sales or thrift shops, puttering in my garden-- which usually involves some sort of DIY project, and connecting with family and friends!
- I recently celebrated 2 years of blogging--in fact the rose photo, taken by Youngest Daughter was my very first blog header!
- I often use my time in the garden as quiet time to pray and meditate. My own private sanctuary...

Yes Cecilia ... love your boots and I notice how cute they were when you were out thrifting last week in the rain. Was wishing I had some. The photo of the pink rose is beautiful. Hope you and Aimee are having a good time.

Cecilia, I love that we both get solace in our garden! I always love seeing the fun projects that you do. Those boots are so darn cute! I have a pair almost that exact color out on my deck. I picked them up at a yard sale for $2. Amazing score on the typewriter! Thanks so much for sharing at the 'Meet and Greet'. Small number of link ups, but hoping maybe we'll see more after SYC tomorrow.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann

ReplyDelete25 cents!! Crazy. I love finds like that; often they turn into great stories. That's half the fun isn't it? Telling the story about how you "caught the big one." Loved learning more about you Cecilia. I always thoroughly enjoy my visits to your blog :)
