Urban Jungle Bloggers: Plant Color Pop!

Hi there! Today I'm joining Urban Jungle Bloggers and this month is a celebration of summer using color as a backdrop for our favorite plant(s)...

Hydrangeas

I often use my vibrant living room wall as a contrast against softer colors.  Here it pops against the muted shade of the garden hydrangea.  Yes, I finally found a place I could plant my beloved hydrangeas where they would not receive too much sun--happy dance!

Since color and flowers are two of my favorite things, of course I couldn't stop at just one! Sweet pink fairy roses pop against this vivid green.  Any guesses what my green prop is? Leave it in the comment section ;)

Pale pink fairy roses

I have always been partial to nature's greens as a backdrop and love to use bright colored garden accents like this bench. Rock rose is in front and if you look closely, you can see lavender on the right.

Which is your favorite?

Don't forget to guess my green prop!
