Romantic Candlelight Mantel

Greetings Friends! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  I promised to share how I used the clearance heart wreath on my mantel. I've added more Christmas clearance, a few thrifted treasures and candlelight to create a romantic winter mantel...

Hopefully, you haven't grown weary of my Christmas clearance finds, but they are so thrifty, I just have to share! When I found this set of battery operated flameless candles 80% off on Christmas clearance, I knew I wanted to use them on my mantel.  Candlelight always adds warmth to a room--perfect for winter nights.

The pair of lovely white hearts were clearance ornaments from Target. The tiny cherub and delicate rose bowls were .25 thrifted finds.

I am smitten with Vintage valentines and got a bargain on these at an antique mall. You know I love scrabble tiles and always pick them up when I see them at yard sales.

The Vintage bobbins were a gift from a friend.

I hope you are feeling inspired and maybe a little warmer ;)

  3. Cecilia... the mantel looks so LOVE-ly. Love how you have used all your finds. I love natural old wood pieces, but really like the painted wooden spools for candle holders. That large one looks almost like marble or alabaster.
    Great look.
    Blessings,
    Audrey Z.

  6. Your mantle is so lovely. The pink roses really pop beautifully. I should have kept my tree decorated in pink out for V-Day, but I didn't even think of it when I was packing up Christmas stuff. Maybe next year. I love vintage postcards too!
