TGITF Friends! Today I am sharing a Vintage vignette created with my latest yard sale treasures...
Next, you know I love me some Fire-King! I already had a few pieces of this charming Wheat pattern from the 60s. My recent finds include the loaf pan and a second custard dish. Did you notice the milk glass jars? I learned these are old mentholatum bottles. They were only .25 a piece and are perfect as herb vases.
If you are like me and can't get enough of Fire-King's sweet patterned cookware, take a peek at some of my previous finds...

Nice display ... and the wheat pattern is so nice for this time of the year. Love the Tom and Jerry ones too.

I have seen the Tom & Jerry before but don't know the story about them. Could you maybe tell their story in a post?
ReplyDeleteThat's really interesting about the Mentholatum bottles, Cecilia. And I really love that little bird...is it a thrifting find as well?
ReplyDeleteYour fire king finds are wonderful. Yes, I love all the sweet patterns on each one too.

Love the little jars and the loaf pan. Great finds! Thanks so much for sharing at the Make it Monday Party! Hope to see you again next week.
ReplyDeleteI think Fire King is so underrated! I love their patterns. I wish they had as much "fame" as Pyrex! :) Thanks for sharing @ TTF.
ReplyDeleteOh my friend, you know I love this!! I have the casserole, but no custard dishes and the pan is great also. My collection continues to grow and I love it when I find a new piece! Kind of fun to find a little at a time. Yup, love Fire King and your other treasures are wonderful as well! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
