Countdown to Christmas Eve: Have Yourself a Coastal Little Christmas!

Happy Wednesday Friends! There are 8 Wednesdays left until Christmas Eve! The countdown continues with some coastal inspiration...

I love the combination of burlap and shells for an organic beach inspired look. I found these burlap covered canvases marked down at Michaels. I simply arranged shells from my recent beach trip to form the Christmas tree and then hot glued them. The tiny starfish are from Hobby Lobby.

For this little burlap Christmas tree...

Coastal burlap shell tree

I started with a dollar store styrofoam cone, wrapping and gluing frayed burlap ribbon until it was covered.  Next, I trimmed my tree with small shells and starfish. As a finishing touch I placed it inside a mini galvanized pot that I picked up at a yard sale.

To make this beachy ornament, all you need is a clear bulb, sand, tiny shells and ribbon for trim!

After dropping the items inside, I used a skewer to arrange them.

There you have it! Make one or all three as gifts or to add to your own Christmas decor!
