Thank God it's thrifty Friday, y'all! Have you had a good week? I have been to some great sales this week including the one where I found this fabulous Vintage Cosco stool. This is one piece I do not intend to makeover--I like her just the way she is! Check out my plans for this sweet find...
I knew she belonged in the garden and I had these fun enamelware pots I thrifted awhile back. Aren't they perfect with my little red stool?
I found this charming garden sign 50% off and the little birdie was saved from an old strand of lights. The lights had seen better days and no longer worked but no sense in wasting perfectly good birdies :)
Voila--from traditional kitchen stool to unique plant shelf! Oh how I love thrifting! So glad you stopped by today. Until next time, happy hunting!
Love this stool and it is adorable with your plants and cute bird! I'm ready to add some fun to my yard!!

Great find! It looks simply charming with the flower "pots"! You have just inspired my to go out in the garden in tweak some of my ugly pots.
ReplyDeleteLove it as is too! Chippy red makes my heart throb! lol! Went to a thrift today and found an old red metal spreader. It will now be a planter.

If I were a betting woman, I would have guessed this fun piece would end up in your garden! My grandmother had one like this...I wonder what happened to it?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful in your garden Cecilia. I love old Cosco stools. I buy them every chance I get. Most of mine have the backs, but I did have one like that in yellow that I put in our garage sale ... regretting selling it now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your pretty garden.

i'd love to find something like this in the thrifts - we need a good sturdy stepstool... without one we can't reach the high storage shelves this apartment has! :) i like it as a shelf too!
