Set Your Table for a Happy Fall, Y'all!

Hello, Friends! I have always loved setting a pretty table and changing it up for different seasons. With Fall approaching, I gathered my recent thrift finds, seasonal favorites and even a few DIY projects I planned to use.  (More on those later...)

Ready to primp my table!

I started with a glittery burlap table runner, I got on clearance after the holidays last year.  I keep one like it on my mantel for every day--who says you can't sparkle year round?! In the center of the table, I placed a creamy white ceramic pumpkin and acorn salt and peppers I have had for years.  I added some turquoise burlap ribbon across the width of the table and then added my place settings; a combination of my Vintage china with some seasonal pieces. How charming are these fabulous burlap flatware holders ?! A splurge and a bargain from my Etsy earnings--I just love them paired with these sparkly white cotton napkins.  Though I was pleased with how my projects turned out, when I started setting the table, it just wasn't looking as I had imagined, so I started editing.  Originally, I planned to use my chalkboard chargers, but found them too dark with my Vintage china pieces--so those were the first to go. However, I'm sure they will be used in the near future.

Now for the finishing touches. I wanted to display herbs from my garden in these pretty little bud vases and Vintage cream and sugar decanters, both thrift finds.  I really liked the natural combination of fresh herbs, acorns and mini pumpkins, but when I added my handmade sparkly ones, the table looked crowded so I decided to use them on my mantel instead.
