Happy Monday, Friends! Lately, I've been adding lovely little details to my bedroom, including this easy DIY narrow gold TV frame. Follow along to see just how easy and inexpensive this project is--you might just be surprised

Now I understand it is a really narrow frame but I love experimenting with the beautiful screensaver art that's available, and that generic black frame was just an eyesore! Who can relate? Here's a quick before and after.

Before you begin this project, here are a few tips. First, while the appearance of the tape on the roll borders on tacky, I promise it looks much nicer when it is stretched across the frame--honest! Also, the tape is extremely forgiving, which means you can lift up and reposition it easily as needed. Last, before you apply the tape, use your remote to locate the power/sound sensor which should not be covered!

The best way to apply the tape will depend on the width and style of your TV's frame. I applied mine to the top, sides, and bottom, saving the front display of the frame for last, and stretching the tape at an angle at the corners before cutting. Smooth it as you apply, but don't worry if the tape overlaps in some places. Below is a photo I took several weeks later and the tape is staying in place nicely.
