Happy Monday, Friends! I have had a fondness for vintage bedding and soft chenille coverlets for as long as I can remember. If you share my affection for these timeless treasures, check out these three thrifty ways to style your home with them

1. Layer Vintage Bedding and Pillowcases for a Comfy, Cozy, Timeless Look
Whether I'm shopping at a thrift store, yard or estate sale, I'm always on the lookout for vintage bedding, like the chenille coverlet above and gorgeous embroidered and crochet-trimmed pillowcases.

Over the years, I've collected some beauties--most recently these soft cotton floral cases.

Next time you almost walk by a pretty single pillowcase, grab it and create something new!

This is also a great option for salvaging a damaged pillowcase that still has lovely details.

3. Repurpose Vintage Bedding as a Custom Window Treatment
This is a thrifty way to swap out curtains and lighten up a space for summer--all you need is the right size bedspread (or tablecloth) and some clip on curtain rings.

Here's a view of my lighter layered bed and curtain for summer!

Don't forget to shop your home for just the right handmade or collected finishing touch!

Here you can see more of the vintage quilts, chenille bedspreads and coverlets I've collected.
