Saturday in Mason: Lilacs-N-Calico & Co.

Greetings Friends! Last week I shared my finds from the little town of Mason. I was so taken with Lilacs-N-Calico & Co. --a whimsical clothing shop with charming vintage displays, I just had to share it with you...

Lilacs-N-Calico & Co.

Picture this, I've arrived at Mason's town square and I've already spotted an antique shop on the corner.  I was happy to find a parking space nearby, and my sights were set to hit that antique shop.  It just so happened that I parked right smack in front of Lilacs-N-Calico and I knew right away this was the place I wanted to be! When I walked in, this gorgeous table setting was the first thing to catch my eye.  From the forks as picture displays to the sheet music place mats, I adored every little repurposed detail and was absolutely swooning!

I met the shop owner, Jennifer and immediately asked permission to photograph her delightful displays.  She is a sweetheart and I wish I would have thought to get her photo. You can show her some love here.  She is one creative lady--get ready to feast your eyes...

Mason, Texas

Lilacs-N-Calico features beautiful clothing, jewelry, accessories and vintage. Jennifer does a wonderful job of mixing the old with the new.   All of the mannequins are decked out in style like this one!

Isn't this handmade bag adorable?

This is at the entrance to the dressing rooms.  Don't you love how she used the vintage garments as a table skirt?

These vintage rackets make such a fun display!
