Summertime Favorites from my Vintage Kitchen

Happy Monday, Friends! As promised, today I'm sharing a few of my summertime favorite things from my vintage kitchen...

Let's start with colorful zinnias from my garden!

I am absolutely loving all the different shades of pink blooms.

I have had fun pairing bouquets of the cheerful flowers with my vintage jadeite collection.

Although zinnias can have a tendency to get get scorched during our blistering Texas summers, they are thriving better than ever with all the rain we've had the last few months.

More faves include a new rug at the right price and...

Also, first grape tomatoes from the garden!

Let's not forget treats! In the spring, I shared the recipe for a healthier version of my favorite iced mocha.

Next month, I'll share what I learned after baking my first French macarons--here's a sneak peek!

  1. We just moved to the Dallas, TX area and I just love the sunny days and clear skies! I was driving by a neighborhood near my house yesterday and someone had the same macrame hanging chair you showed us, in their front yard. I need to get one for my backyard, so I can sit and read under the trees. Enjoy all your posts! The zinnias are gorgeous!

  4. HI Ceclilia!
It's been too long since I popped in and said hello. Your kitchen looks so bright and pretty. I love the pops of color from your beautiful vintage finds. And macarons are one of my faves! I haven't been brave enough to try making them myself, but I hope to do that sometime soon. I'll be curious to hear how difficult it is? Lol Blessings to you. xo

  5. Your zinnias are gorgeous! I never cease to adore seeing your vintage treasures and how you style them. I hit 3--count 'em, 3, church yard sales this last week and am still busy washing, touch-up-painting, ironing, researching, and pricing treasures for my booth--and a few for me, too!
