Basket Love: Friday's Find #351

Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Since I am now officially fully vaccinated, I am optimistic about more frequent thrift store jaunts in my foreseeable future--Yay! In the meantime, I promised to share the remaining finds from last month's trip to the thrift store. Who loves baskets? What's not to love--right?!

I for one, love their versatility--they are ideal for home decor, pretty storage, gardening, and craft projects. Previously, I have sold several groupings of baskets in my Etsy shop, so I am setting this pair aside until I am able to gather several more for a collection.

This large, vintage beauty looks lovely currently resting against my faux fireplace hearth. Who knows how I may use it in the future? The possibilities are endless. 😊

On the other hand, I'll be sharing a tutorial for how I upcycled this wall pocket style next week!

  1. Love baskets but I seem to miss them every time I go to the thrift store.

  2. I love baskets! I especially collect them for my "Be Good to Yourself" baskets that I fill with homemade bath salts, soaps, scrubs, crocheted dishcloths, stationary items, bathpoufs, you name it for my church's bazaar, raffle items, and gifts. I HAVE beams in my cathedral-ceilinged bedroom with hand hewn-looking nails that hold my a lot of my collection. But ones like your wall pocket just scream for a faux floral arrangement!
