Personalized Scrabble Tile Christmas Place Cards

Happy Thursday, Friends! It's time for the latest Creative Crafts Hop hosted by Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate and Andrea at Design Morsels! Today I'm sharing a nostalgic place card you can personalize for your Christmas table...

Scrabble Tile Christmas Place Cards

If you've hopped over after visiting Chloe, welcome! I always keep an eye out for old Scrabble games at yard sales and thrift stores. I've also noticed that Hobby Lobby carries an adhesive version that will work with this craft and I'll include some links at the end of the post, too. Ready to make your own?

Here's what you'll need for these fun and easy Christmas place cards:

*Scrabble tiles to spell names of family members/guests
*Wooden letter holder for each place card
*Mini bottle brush trees and glue dots

First, sort the letters for each name--that way you'll know ahead of time if you need to supplement any letters from your stash. Next, arrange the names on the letter holder. The tiles rest nicely on the holder and don't really need securing unless you'd like to send the place cards home as hostess gifts--if so, use glue dots to attach each letter. Last, attach the bottle brush tree with a glue dot. It's that easy!

  11. Such a cute idea. I use the scrabble tiles for so many things like this. I attach things with poster putty so I can take it all off & rearrange for new words...then I don't have to buy more tiles.
