Happy Wednesday, Friends! Today's 15 Minute Fix is a super simple wreath I created with two thrift store finds...
...an embroidery hoop and morning glory floral garland. Any floral or greenery garland could be used, it just needs to be wired, so it can be wrapped securely around the hoop.
Simply wrap the garland around the hoop, twisting the wire to attach it.
Once the entire hoop was covered, I decided I liked it better partially exposed like the photo above. Of course, it was easy enough to remove the last portion I'd added. I'm curious, which do you prefer--fully covered or partially exposed? Leave a comment and let me know!

MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING FOR FEATURING THIS POST:
I like it partially exposed! Makes me wish I still had that morning glory garland that was too short to do much with! Oh well....easy come, easy go.
ReplyDeleteLove yours and love your 15 minute fixes! Have a great day!
Hugs,
Cecilia

DeleteThis is a great idea! I just picked up a hoop at the thrift store and I was getting ready to adorn it with some flowers. The garland is genius!
ReplyDeleteBoth are very cute. I think I like the fully covered best.

I have embroidery hoops as wall decor in my dining room so this is definitely speaking to me. Thanks for sharing at the Dishing It & Digging It Link Party. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThey're both lovely Cecilia, but if I had to chose I'd pick the half covered wreath. It works for me.
