Happy Wednesday, Friends! It's time for another 15 Minute Fix--ready to raid your craft stash? Today I'm sharing a mini pennant banner that can be crafted for St. Patrick's Day or any occasion...
Though I'm not usually one to decorate for St. Patrick's Day, after recently scoring a whimsical leprechaun during my thrifting adventures, I was inspired to create a wee vignette. I featured it with the vintage Irish Innisfallen soda label I ordered some time ago. As I prepared this post, I learned that the soda was an apple cider drink named after Innisfallen Island in Ireland. You can read more about the vintage soda bottle labels, here.
The vintage kiddie chair I repurposed as a wall shelf is one of my favorite places to style small vignettes. After raiding my craft stash, I decided to add a mini pennant banner. I started by using the small green bordered pennant as a pattern for cutting the other green prints I had on hand.
Next, I used glue dots to attach the pennant pieces to glittery gold ribbon.

Last, I added glittered gold stick on letters to spell the word Lucky.
Easy-peasy! Just think of all the possibilities and color combinations--wouldn't it be cute personalized for a party celebration?
Happy crafting!
That is really cute Cecilia! Love that little chair shelf! I don't remember seeing it before.

Adorable. Love the little chair on the wall. I have two little chairs on the wall in my office one is vintage the other isn't. You know what they say about "great minds". I've never styled mine cute like you did though. Food for thought. I love your 15 Minute Fix series.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing at the Snickerdoodle Create~Bake~Make link party!
DeleteReally cute display. That cute little chair makes such a unusual display shelf. I could happily add that one, or one like it, to my vintage child-chair collection.
