Hi there, Friends! I'm guessing there's at least a few Junk Gypsy fans out there, am I right? It was quite a treat to visit the store and today I wanted to share it with you, plus some highlights from Royers Cafe. How fun is this pink suburban? The Junk Gypsy sisters nicknamed her Large Marge...

...the Party Barge: She was junky when junky wasn't cool! It's quotes like this that endear Amie and Jolie to their fans. Just in case you aren't familiar with the show, it aired in 2012, first on HGTV and then on its sister station GAC. Disenchanted with corporate life, they started their own business in 1998 selling vintage flea market finds. They became well known after redesigning Miranda Lambert's Airstream tour bus and then designing the wedding for Miranda and Blake Shelton. Since then, their store, Junk Gypsy Company has achieved considerable fame and the sisters wrote a book to share their story.

Ready to see the store? The outside is delightful. Did you notice the china flower bed border? They say great minds think alike ;) I'm a long time fan of the J.R.R. Tolkien quote: Not all who wander are lost.
They filled their bike basket with pumpkins, too!
If you've seen the show, you probably remember the pick-up truck and carousel.
Check out all of the urns and the Queen sign resting between trees at the JG temple of junk.
{In case you're wondering, JG is not one of my affiliates, but for those who may be interested in shopping, I've included links. Just click on the type of product.} Inside is an eclectic variety of clothing, jewelry, accessories and home decor from the kitchen to the bedroom with the Junk Gypsy bohemian style and a little farmhouse too. There's also tees and glamping merchandise galore! Below, I love the chandelier and vintage bed frame. Did you notice the candy in the glass front display?

Here's the tee I brought home--it's super comfy! See the rest of my Round Top finds here!
Carly wasn't familiar with the Junk Gypsy show, but she enjoyed the store as much as I did. She brought home this great coffee mug for her hubby. Now who's ready for pie?
Royers' pie, that is! Have you ever seen so many pies? I could kick myself for not getting a photo of the mouth watering sweet-n-salty slice that both Carly and I chose. To be honest, I was too busy shoveling it in savoring it! Imagine a brownie pie with chunks of caramel and a hint of sea salt--it was divine.
Incidentally, it was on an episode of Junk Gypsy that I first heard of Royers Cafe. Like the rest of Round Top, it may be small but it packs a huge amount of charm. I should also mention that in addition to pie, the food is fabulous. We started with tasty rolls served with herb butter. Then Carly and I shared Michah's pasta which was fettuccine topped with shrimp sauteed in olive oil and white wine, with basil, tomatoes and parmesan cheese. It was delicious and more than enough for two--especially when you are saving room for pie after. Others at our table chose a pulled pork special and burgers. Everything looked so good! Here are their menu classification:
LITS: Life is too short!
OMG: Oh my goodness!
OMP: Oh my pie!

How perfect is the chandy that hangs above the entrance?
