Lisa at Sweet Tea-N-Salty Air painted a table for her kitchen using a process so her table would look well worn with a history of several paint jobs. I love her vision and think her table turned out great. Drop by A Table Redo with Some Vintage Style Love for some painting inspiration and be sure to show Lisa some love while you are there.

Sara over at Twelve on Main, and her handy husband, are truly ones for repurposing old things. Most recently, they used some pretty rough reclaimed wood planks to create beautiful "butcher block" countertops for their recently renovated laundry room. You can see how it adds true farmhouse style in her post How to Make Butcher Block Countertops.

If you're like me, then a trip to the junk yard is pure heaven. Audrey from Timeless Treasures took us on a tour of Junk Yard Treasures in a post filled with fascinating rusty old things that make my heart sing. Oh and look for the porch posts she picked up to make a harvest table with. Gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteOops, I am so sorry. I linked my fall decor post and my watermelon salad. I was just happily linking along and forgot the no food request:( Sorry for the goof!
