Friday's Find: Vintage Egg Basket Planter

Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Today's vintage find makes the perfect hanging basket for these coral impatiens...

...and there is nothing I like better than repurposing one of my thrifted treasures for the garden! This rustic metal basket is collapsible and was originally used for gathering eggs.

As soon as I picked it up, I knew it would make a unique hanging basket.  I  spread moss in the very bottom.  Next I added a coco liner to hold the flowers...

...and found a shady spot for my "new" basket of impatiens!
