Happy Monday, Friends! If you have fond memories of savoring the sweet nectar from honeysuckle flowers as a child, today I have just the dessert for you! After harvesting the flowers, you'll only need a few ingredients to whip up this delicious honeysuckle mousse

Now if you've never tasted honeysuckle, imagine a delicate flavor like the heavenly fragrance! To harvest the honeysuckle, I usually take a basket to the garden and gently pluck the flowers that are blooming. You'll need at least a cup for the homemade syrup plus a few for garnishing the dessert.

Ingredients
Honeysuckle dessert syrup
1 cup honeysuckle flowers
1 cup coconut sugar
1 cup water
Mousee
2 cups cottage cheese
1/2 cup honeysuckle dessert syrup
1 tablespoon creamed honey
Optional: whipped cream
To make the syrup, start by allowing the water to come to a boil until the coconut sugar dissolves. Next, remove from heat, add the honeysuckle flowers and steep for 30 minutes. Drain and cool. Then blend the cottage cheese, honeysuckle syrup, and creamed honey until smooth and creamy. Last, pour into dessert dishes or ramekins and chill. Optional: Garnish with honeysuckle flowers and whipped cream before serving. Enjoy!
