Peace

Happy Sunday, Friends! Peace. What comes to mind when you hear the word? Maybe you're like me and tend to associate it with the absence of stress, or maybe it immediately conjures the image of a certain place that soothes your soul.  If there is anything the past year has taught us is how fragile and fleeting peace can seem...

Peace: Reflections Prayers and Journal Prompts

For that reason, I wrote a simple devotional about practicing peace--not because I presume to have all the answers but in hopes that sharing some of my challenges may encourage others. The reflections are intentionally "short and sweet" to start or redirect your day. They begin with scripture, close with prayer, and include journal prompts. Here's a brief excerpt from the synopsis:

  • Do you struggle to find peace during stressful situations?
  • Are you weary of religious platitudes?
  • Would you like to know what the Bible says about peace?
  • What does practicing peace look like during these unsettling times?

I am sharing today instead of my usual Friday post because I have been waiting for the published paperback to go live.

*For my readers who prefer turning pages and the feel of holding the book in your hand, the paperback is available here!

*And for those who prefer the convenience of reading on your device, the eBook is available, here!
