Vintage Oriental Pheasants English Transferware: Friday's Find #295

Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! This week I scored some gorgeous pieces in the English Enoch Wedgwood Oriental Pheasants pattern. This large serving platter is absolutely beautiful!

You may remember that I previously shared the dinner plates in this pattern. I even featured them in my Thanksgiving tablescape. Interestingly, I found them at the same thrift store where I found the platter all these months later!

The backstamp on the dinner plates is almost identical to this one but didn't include the name of the pattern, Oriental Pheasants. In addition to this pretty "Kent" green, I learned the pattern comes in black and white.

I also found this set of four bowls.

A single tea cup and sugar bowl are keepers!

  1. That's really a pretty pattern. I think any age transfer ware will never go out of style---and mixing all sorts together is a fun project. Finding a specific pattern is always harder, especially at reasonable prices!

  2. Transferware is growing on me. Love the muted colors in this pattern. I could decorate a room around those colors! Nice thrifting!
