Buttons and Burlap Heart in 3 Easy Steps!

Happy Wednesday Friends! Can you believe it is February already? I don't know about you, but I'm still getting used to a new year.  The winter months are the perfect time for crafting and today I'm sharing a sweet project that's as thrifty as can be because it was created with clearance finds...

I picked up this burlap covered sign and button assortment awhile back on clearance at Michael's.

I knew I wanted to create a heart design, so first I traced one from my craft stash.  You can personalize yours according to preference.  Wouldn't a monogrammed initial be fun, too?

Second, I arranged the buttons and third, glued them with craft glue--beginning with the outline and then filling in the rest of the heart.
