Hi there, Friends! With the end of July approaching, it won't be long before autumn projects begin to pop up all over. Have you noticed the stores have already started with fall decor? While I can understand how the scorching heat can make one long for the season to change, here in Texas we've got at least two more months of summer weather. That being said, I plan to finish out July with a few summer decor posts that pair something old with something new. Since it was during the holidays when I last shared my bedroom, let's start there...

Given my fondness for teacups, this lovely treasure was a blessing and I was surprised someone else hadn't already grabbed it, considering Mother's Day is just a few days away! Since I'm partial to mini bouquets, I couldn't wait to arrange the dainty cup with fresh garden blooms...
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Today's find is this fabulous Shabby Chic lamp shade. It caught my eye because though I often see lamps while thrifting, the shade is usually missing. I have hunted for just the right shade on more than one occasion--this one is spotless, floral perfection for $5. Happy dance!
