Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends and Happy 2026! I spent the holidays with my kids and had an absolutely wonderful visit. Dear Firstborn and Sweet Son-in-Law hosted and today I am actually sharing their fabulous find along with some highlights of beautiful Christmas lights

I arrived a week earlier than Favorite Son and before meeting up with Youngest Daughter, we made the scenic drive from Fort Collins to Estes Park, a charming mountain town. Of course we stopped at a thrift store there and before we even stepped inside, Dear Firstborn and I spied this pair of adorable vintage tin soldier blow molds in their window! As thrifting providence would have it, they were 50% off so they scored them both for $25--I'm not sure who was more excited! Here's Sweet SIL carrying them to the car and a peek of them on their balcony. We ate lunch at The Bird's Nest where we enjoyed some of the best BBQ chicken pizza I've tasted plus I also had delicious rose, lavender, and honey latte, so if you wind up in the NoCo area, pay them a visit and stop by the darling Elizabeth Guild thrift store!

That evening, we went to the Garden of Lights Christmas light display in Fort Collins which was just gorgeous!

Surprisingly, the weather during most of my visit was unseasonably warm and comparable to Texas but the night we were there was probably the coldest during my stay. We bundled up, drank hot cocoa and had a great time!

One of my favorite displays featured lights styled as fruits and vegetables like these tomatoes and grapes.

What garden would be complete without a caterpillar? 😉

There's nothing quite like making memories with family, is there?

I'll be sharing my seasonal bargain finds next week. Until then, stay cozy and happy hunting!
