Happy Tuesday, Friends! Welcome to the 2026 Valentine's Day Tablescape Hop hosted by dear Rita from Panoply! Today I've gathered vintage dishes and linens from my thrifted collections and English ivy from the garden to create a charming table for two. Please pull up a chair and join me

If you've hopped over after visiting Jennifer from Celebrating Everyday Life, I'm so glad you're here! Last week I shared the plant sanctuary I created on my mantel to chase away the winter blahs and I have enjoyed it so much that I decided to highlight English ivy on my table as well. You may remember this sweet heart vase was a thrift store find!

I've had the pretty tablecloth for ages and it complements the thrifted rose plates and ivy napkins beautifully.

Over the years I've collected quite an assortment of pink glassware, pairing depression glass with contemporary bargains.

I couldn't resist these mini donuts and neither could Cupid!

I love me some velvet ribbon and I scored a few spools for free with Hallmark rewards points!

Would you like tea or coffee with your donuts?

Cupid likes to stay close to the sweets!

Thanks for stopping by today! I'll leave you with this bird's eye view:

Next up is Kari from Me and My Captain--I can't wait to check out her LOVE-ly table! Don't forget to scroll down to visit the rest of today's featured bloggers!

Cecelia, so fun to see your comment first thing this morning. Hope you are surviving this winter storm with no issues. I feel fortunate to have a warm, cozy home wrapped around me, with the added comfort of a friend here to share the time. the rose and English ivy theme is perfect! I need to remember to gather my own ivy and use it indoors. Your thrifted plates delight as do the linens and other details. Your table for two is most inviting. Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, I am very thankful that I haven't had any power outages. Weathering the storm with a friend sounds like fun! Thanks so much for visiting. <3
DeleteOh, this is sweet! I really love the tablecloth, and I will have coffee with cream for my cup, please. (:
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gina! Coffee with cream coming right up! ;)
DeleteYour pink glassware is so pretty and I adore the colors of this setting! The vintage tablecloth is so pretty and the ivy coordinates so well with your real plant! Happy Valentines Day!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Patti!
DeleteThis is beautiful! I love the combination of pink and green. I’m intrigued by the fact that you collect pink glassware. What you have on the table is lovely. I also like your green cup and saucer, is that jadeite? It is SO pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yep--my jadeite collection is one of my most cherished!
DeleteA lovely table for two Cecilia. Love the green and pink. The tablecloth is stunning. I love seeing pieces of your jadeite collection. How special to collect pink glassware too. The little Cupid is so adorable. Always a pleasure joining you at the table.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, thank you, Friend!
DeleteI adore your tablecloth! I love the print, and the colors! The little rose plates look so cute with it. Your table for two is so romantic and cute! I even noticed how the tiny velvet ribbons match the green in the tablecloth. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ricki! Great minds think alike ;)
DeleteThe tablecloth in rose and green with that great vintage look is my favorite although the rose plates are a close second. Loved how your jade pieces work so well with the other colors. There is a romantic feel to the table that reminds me of picnics in the garden with a favorite companion. Have a lovely Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteLynne, Thrifting Wonderland
Thanks so much, Lynne. I know you share my affection for thrifty vintage pieces!
DeleteCecilia I am going to try this again... I typed in my comments and then quickly hit delete! LOL (Which makes me laugh even more when I received your email comment to me about "quickly"🥰 OK...here goes. Thank you for your kind comment in your post about my table being next on the list. You are too kind. Secondly, you know how much I love your jadite and the pretty pink glasses go so well with the green. I collect pink blossom depression glass as well as green cameo depression glass. I also collect the pink moss which is a lot like your green jadite, I really collect too many of them all but I can't help it. I have an addiction too. Ivy is good whether inside or outside and your ivy in the sweetheart vase is perfect. Love the tablecloth and I would like tea please with the donuts Cupid does not take. Happy Valentines Day...stay warm and keep the lights on❤️🥰❤️
ReplyDeleteKari, your comment made me smile. I am not sure I've seen pink moss but I would love to see yours! Happy Valentine's Day to you!
DeleteHi Cecilia, I love the charming tablecloth and the rose plates. Your pink glassware is so pretty and I have always admired your jadeite collection. It is a perfectly romantic setting for Valentine’s Day! It is always a pleasure to join you at the table!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Pam and Happy Valentine's Day to you!
DeleteCecilia, I envy your beautiful collection of vintage items, especially your vintage floral tablecloth. I occasionally search for vintage tablecloths since the design and materials are none other. This is an amazing color and design and it certainly matches your lovely plates and napkins. The mix of mint green and pink is unique and speaks of past times. The pink depression glass collection works so well with this as does the jadeite pieces. I certainly feel like I stepped back in time. The pink frosted donuts look so delicious too. What a fun table brings back moments at aunts and uncles for Sunday get togethers. A great time and a tablesca which brings back those warm and fuzzy feelings. Happy Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comments! <3
DeleteYour table is charming, I love the items and colors you have combined to create your unique and inviting setting.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angie!
DeleteGood morning Cecilia, I love the vintage charm of your table! The pink and green combination, floral tablecloth, rose plates with pink glassware and sweet cupid, all create a lovely table for Valentine’s Day. I love the ivy accents too. As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Stay warm & cozy! 🩷
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Mary! Hope you are staying warm!
DeleteCecilia, I just adore this table!!! I love the vintage table cloth and dishes! The colors are fabulous and go so well with both your pink glassware and your jadeite pieces. Your additions of the ivy and the adorable Cupid are spot on! So cute! Have a lovely Valentine’s Day!❤️
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your thoughtful comment, Ann! Happy Valentine's Day to you!
DeleteCecilia, your table is just darling! I love your vintage pieces, and those colors are lovely together. Bringing the fresh ivy to the table with your ivy napkins was nice. All your pink glassware really sets a sweet and airy tone, and the Jadeite is gorgeous! All-around beautiful! Happy Valentines!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Barbara! Have a lovely Valentine's Day!
DeleteCecilia, what a perfectly matched tablecloth to your china and glassware on this table! It pays, over the years, to stay focused when you know you're collecting certain colorways and/or patterns (jadeite, depression), to hone in on what you know will ultimately work well together. You have your eye trained well in that regard. This is a lovely table, perfect for sharing with a gal pal or close family member. Thank you for styling and sharing for this blog hop!
ReplyDeleteRita, from one collector to another, I take that as quite a compliment--thank you! <3 I appreciate your hosting and I hope your internet has been restored. Can you believe we're supposed to get round 2 this weekend? Although, hopefully the forecast is accurate and we will skip freezing rain'/ice this time!
DeleteCecilia, I love the soft colors on your charming table. Gives me spring vibes as I stare out the window at the last of the ice coatings. Pink glass, whether new or vintage, has an undeniable touch of romance! I think it will entice you and your guest to linger and enjoy Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sandra! Hope you have a lovely Valentine's Day!
DeleteCecilia, I love this table - it is beautiful! I love how everything single piece on the table you chose works with everything else and you have made it look so effortless. The vintage tablecloth is gorgeous and creates the perfect backdrop for your thrifted rose plates and ivy napkins. Your collection of pink glassware, candle holders, cake stand, and vase is so pretty and it is always so special to see some of your jadeite collection. Cupid is adorable and I'll have coffee with my donut please. Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Kim! You are welcome for coffee and donuts, anytime! ;)
DeleteCecilia, I love the vintage look of your table. The tablecloth is stunning, and the both the dinner and salad plates remind me of days of long ago. I love pink glassware, and really need to think about building my collection. It is so pretty and nostalgic. Your cake stand with mini donuts is certainly very inviting, and cupid is the perfect touch. Another detail I like is how you have tied your flatware with a green bow, then fanned it out. I must remember to try this!
ReplyDeleteCecilia, this is such a beautiful example of how vintage pieces tell a story — I absolutely love the ivy and roses together, they feel timeless and romantic. Your layered mix of thrifted finds creates so much warmth and personality, and it’s always inspiring to see how you make collected pieces feel effortlessly cohesive. Such a lovely table for two — so happy to be hopping along with you!
