Mini Nutcracker Ornament Glow Up

Happy Monday, Friends! Do you have faded ornaments or maybe some you found on clearance that you would like to elevate before hanging them on the tree? Today I'll show you how you can give them a sparkling glow with a little paint

Miniature Nutcracker Glow up

Supplies:

Mini nutcrackers or desired ornaments
Craft paint: Apple Barrel Spring Green and Cloudless, DecoArt Americana Baby Blush, Folkart Metallic Inca Gold
Embellishments of your preference: Velvet ribbon, gold ornament hangers, etc

Start by selecting the paint colors and ornaments you plan to use. (I listed the specific colors for my craft above.) Next give each ornament at least 2 coats of paint to give plastic ornaments like mine a luxe matte patina. Then while the ornaments are drying, raid your craft stash for ribbon or other embellishments.(I used narrow velvet ribbon and fancy gold ornament hooks.)   Last add just a touch of sparkle by painting a small portion  of the ornament gold. That's all there is to it--enjoy hanging them on the tree, creating a garland, or trimming a package for someone special!
