Fall Fun in the Texas Hill Country

Happy Monday, Friends! As promised, today I'm sharing some highlights of fun fall outings from my mom and stepdad's recent visit. I always enjoy coming across an idea I haven't seen before and I haven't seen anything like these adorable ghost mushrooms anywhere in Blogland. Come along for more fabulous fall eye candy

On Thursday, Mom and Jeff wanted to go to Fredericksburg which is about a 30 minute drive. We ate at a charming outdoor spot here and it was delicious!

Mom and I went shopping while Jeff visited the Nimitz Gallery.

The Becker Vineyards shop  has the best lavender products!

Friday afternoon after thrifting and my early birthday lunch, we headed out to The Ridge Marketplace--home of the cute little mushroom ghosts in the intro photo.

The cafe and Wild Flour bakery feature a charming wrap around porch complete with swings and are surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Everything was decked out for fall!

Mom and I were drawn to this whimsical carved tree planter...

...and I loved all the hand-painted decor.

We thoroughly enjoyed browsing the gift shops and vintage garden room.

One last thing, we brought home chocolate truffle pie for dessert and it was absolutely divine!

  3. What a beautiful day...and love all the antiques and gorgeous pumpkins. Illinois is a big producer of pumpkins but these are amazing. I missed going out this Fall on excursions, so it was fun to go with you on this one. Sandi
