Happy Monday, Friends! The mailbox is the first thing you see as you approach my home and mine had become faded and honestly kind of sad looking so...I gave it a thrifty makeover! Come see how I used supplies I had on hand to create a fresh new look without buying a thing

Here's a quick before and after...

...and a front view of my mailbox makeover. Ready to get started?

Start by raiding your craft stash--I used supplies I had on hand, including indoor/outdoor craft paint and dollar store decals and numbers. Next, clean and if needed, sand or scrape any flaking paint from the mailbox. Then, paint the mailbox. I used 2 coats of the Spring Green pictured below. Last, apply desired decals and address numbers to the mailbox once it is completely dry.
TIP: I have used dollar store decals for various outdoor projects and have found them to be quite durable. However, please allow the paint to dry thoroughly--overnight is preferable--before applying any decals.
