I found that even ordinary black paint will work okay for a chalkboard that it is not used that much. xoxo SuButterfly 8)(8 Bungalow https://www.blogger.com/profile/12407401010841427366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963715413937738878.post-91831135111182660002016-03-08T10:14:27.368-06:002016-03-08T10:14:27.368-06:00Love this!Love this!Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07465862144480036138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963715413937738878.post-28913278557467833292016-03-08T08:40:32.829-06:002016-03-08T08:40:32.829-06:00I have used some on the entire length of a door(!)...I have used some on the entire length of a door(!) (posting about it soon) to create a weekly family calendar. I think it would be better for writing something that doesn't need to be erased and changed every week because it doesn't seem to be as forgiving as a regular chalkboard. But I do love the idea and I think it's perfect for some projects where you don't want to have to paint! xo Kathleen Our Hopeful Homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09545698852959318449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963715413937738878.post-14539425377890692772016-03-08T08:26:04.586-06:002016-03-08T08:26:04.586-06:00I have not tried the chalkboard paper. I have visions of trying to scrape contact paper off of shelves, I guess. So I'm curious...does it peel off easy?
I do think it's a good solution to not painting. You get the chalkboard but get to keep the integrity of your platter! Love your 15 minute quick fixes.
Hugs,
CCeciliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12444791923510261610noreply@blogger.com
