My prayers and thoughts are with you. I can picture you planning new plantings, dividing perennials to fill in bald spots, ivy to cover the stumps, etc. When I needed trees cut down last year, I asked my "handy man" (who has resided the damaged siding on my house, cut down trees, painted rooms, etc.) to cut the stumps into points so I could decorate them as fairy house roofs. WELL, he had never heard of fairy houses, and the look he gave me was PRICELESS! Like, who can I get to come drop a net on her! In '98 when we had a horrible ice storm (no power for 11 days in winter!), I had just changed house insurance which covered $1000 in debris cleanup--thank God. Well, I told Fred to do $1000 worth of work of cleanup which resulted in a lot of firewood--win-win!

Your pallet picnic is beautiful; I was never much of a blue fan. Now I love turquoise, red, and white together; it's summery and coastal and almost patriotic all at once.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08268246647001351491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963715413937738878.post-32214536520859824682020-06-05T11:50:33.176-05:002020-06-05T11:50:33.176-05:00Cecilia,

I love the little oasis you created and I love the beautiful summer colors. Such a cute idea to use the pallet for the base - It definitely gives that rustic, woodsy feeling. I'm so glad you could enjoy it for a least a little while and you're so lucky your house was not damaged by the fallen trees. It sounds like such a scary situation. Take care and thanks again for hosting this wonderful blog hop!
ShelleyCalypso In The Countryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10264873052810117169noreply@blogger.com
