Last Minute Valentine Projects to Show Love Around the Table!

Happy Wednesday Friends! With Valentine's Day just several days away, I thought I'd share a few last minute projects.  Whether you've planned a romantic dinner for two, a kid friendly family meal or even coffee with a friend, these no fuss touches are sure to add some love to your table.

You may remember these little heart tins from a recent Friday's Find feature.  I wanted to use them for Valentine's Day and thought they would make adorable place cards/hostess gifts.  You could use the initial of each guest or family member and even add candy on top, if desired.

I gathered stickers, felt hearts, buttons, etc. from my craft stash and secured the embellishments with glue dots.  This would also be a fun project to do with little ones.

Next, how about leaving a personal message for your Valentine with chalkboard chargers?  I've added x-o-x to mine, but they could be personalized to your heart's content.  These were originally thrift store chargers that I sprayed with chalk board paint.  See how here.

Here, I've mismatched place settings. Kids love choosing their place and pointing out the differences! Another festive touch ~ make your own napkin rings.  All you need is a hot glue gun and some craft supplies.

These were crafted with felt hearts and metal trim I had on hand.  Ribbon, felt, even cardboard are other alternatives.

Last, don't forget sweets for your sweet! Below, instead of traditional chocolate covered strawberries, I substituted peppermint candy melts and added sprinkles for a sweet treat.

  4. Love everything about your table setting. I had planned to make the pouch for the silverware this yr. I bought burlap and I think I am allergic to it. My eyes were burning and I was ichy all over.
